Pricing

Our pricing varies depending on your location (travel fees, etc.), the size of the screen you need, and the audience size you’re expecting. For accurate pricing in your area, please reach out to us directly. We’ll provide a customized quote that fits your specific event.

Reservations

We operate on a first-come, first-served basis, so it’s important to secure your spot early! Your reservation will only be confirmed once a non-refundable deposit is received along with a signed event agreement. After that, your booking with The Night Owl Cinema is locked in for your event date.

Film Licensing

The cost of film licensing is not included in our service fees. When you choose your movie, we’ll guide you through the process of acquiring the legal rights to show it at your event. Please note that as the equipment provider, we are no longer able to handle the license acquisition on your behalf, but we’ll supply you with all the necessary contact details and assist with the simple process. Film licensing fees typically range from $200–$650 depending on the movie's release date and licensing requirements.

Other Media & Customization

At The Night Owl Cinema, we don’t just show movies—we create experiences! Our team can help you incorporate a variety of media, from sponsorship ads and slides to live video feeds, music videos, and even video game presentations. Whatever you envision, we’re here to make it happen! Please ensure all media materials are submitted at least 30 days prior to your event to allow for adequate preparation time.

Any video production services (such as creating sponsorship loops, commercials, or promotional videos) will be billed separately. We prefer to handle the production of pre-screening video in-house, but if you’d like to use external production, this must be arranged well in advance. Any late submissions (less than a month before the event) cannot be guaranteed to be ready in time.

Weather Policies

Your event is important to us, but so is protecting our equipment. If weather conditions look threatening—such as imminent rain, strong winds, or thunder—we reserve the right to delay setup or pause production for safety reasons. In extreme cases, we may need to cancel the event if the weather doesn’t improve. We will keep you informed and make the best decision based on the safety of everyone involved.

Event Liability Insurance

Any accidents involving The Night Owl Cinema’s equipment or staff are covered by our event liability insurance. We also offer the option for you to be additionally insured under our policy during your event. Our coverage includes a minimum of $2 million in liability.

Setup & Tear-Down

We typically begin setup between 4:00 and 6:00 pm, depending on your event’s timing. The AIRSCREEN will be up and ready within an hour. Audio testing will begin immediately after setup, and projection testing will start as soon as dusk falls. After the movie ends, the screen will start deflating within 15 minutes (unless otherwise agreed upon). All equipment will be fully removed within 1.5 hours after the movie is finished.

Payment

To secure your event date, a non-refundable deposit is required. The remaining 50% of your payment will be due one month before your event date. The deposit ensures that The Night Owl Cinema is fully committed to your event.
